Fira B! brings music and cinema together with the collaboration of the Illes Balears Film Commission
Núria AbadFira B!, the professional Balearic Music and Performing Arts Market, will be held in Palma from the 20th to the 24th of September. The main purpose of this event is to showcase the latest and most representative productions by Balearic creatives, thanks to its attractive programme aimed at producers, artists and general public. As well as the actual shows on stage, Fira B! gives great relevance to the meeting spaces between artists and producers, with the aim of facilitating cooperation and creativity between the different collectives.
It is within this area of professional activities that cinema finds its place, since music is a key aspect in audiovisual productions and an industry with many possibilities to offer. The Illes Balears Film Commission participates in a training and debate session, dedicated to musical composition for audiovisual media, that will boast cutting-edge speakers who will reflect upon and open up the debate about this industry from different perspectives. The session will then continue with an informal gathering that aims to offer a networking space for musicians, composers and professionals from the audiovisual world who are dedicated to or wish to enter the world of music for audiovisual productions.
