Numerous critics have stated that the Majorcan Cristóbal Serra will go down in history as one of the most important writers of 20th century literature written in Spanish. However, Serra, who died in 2012, remains an author virtually unknown to the general public. With the documentary  Un solitario baile con el miedo (“A lonely dance with fear”), its director, Marga Meliá, and all the teamwork , which has made it possible, try to give a polyhedral, close and enjoyable view of the life and work of this author. They do it through the words of their friends and disciples (Carlos Garrido, José Carlos Llop, Perfecto Cuadrado, etc.), who have built a dreamlike and poetic world from some of their most representative texts.
