Toni Miranda & The Jazz Fingers is the ensemble that has guitarist Toni Miranda as its leader, with Teo Salvà on drums, Joan Garcias on double bass, Jaume Riera on piano, Tomeu Garcias on trombone and Miquel Àngel Rigo on Tenor Sax. Miranda collaborates with this young band with the aim to present his own compositions and arrangements. From the onset, he caught the instrumentation and jazz language of the band. Previously, he had collaborated with Teo Salvà, Jazz Fingers' drummer, which had made the musical connection an easy step. Antoni Miranda is the leader of his own quintet, Miranda Jazz Quintet, but his desire to be inspired by the new wave of jazz players in the islands has led him to the Jazz Fingers, a collaboration that has been well received by the critics and the audience alike.
