Segons l'estació is an attempt to face two texts: Un invierno en Mallorca by George Sand and Un estiu a Mallorca by Llorenç Villalonga. First, it is a question of reading the travel book that has become a controversial emblem of the end of the imagology of the Islands, until we have turned it into the origin of a banal investigation of the insular otherness. On the other hand, to see how Villalonga uses George Sand's text to become elusive in the imposture of eclipsing in this aesthetics so its diversions, aberrations and counterwritings, and that seeks to recognize it in the foreigner in the heart of the identity. Because after all, one in front of the other, they expose us to our way of appearing on the postcard, before the reproach of not being a deserted island, the mythified geosymbol that has been used by the tourist industry and that has shaped the present that falls on us.
