Based on the story "El pou cec" included in Les denúncies, a book of narrations by Antoni Mus. Por takes place within the context of the Second Republic and the Civil War in Manacor. It tells the story of a Republican who hides during the war for fear of the repression by the rebels. While the central theme is the paradox of fear, the play also covers some fundamental rights and public freedom, as well as sexual impulses
