Jacinto is a confused boy who arrives to Míseres, a strange village that rests on the top of the mountains. This place would be abandoned if it weren’t for Zeferdino, a little man who lives there. He tells Jacinto that Míseres was built on the top of the mountains because the settlers were hoping not to suffer the consequences of a terrible epidemy that was ravaging the country. Because there is not much space up there, they couldn´t waste it building roads or squares, that´s why all houses are linked one to another. In Míseres no one can keep a secret…
