La Senyora, based on the novel-la d'Antoni Mus, tells us the life of Teresa, a woman married against her will to a bourgeois from Palma. Her life will be debated between obligation and desire, the need to preserve forms and social status as opposed to passionate and sexual instincts. A game of power in which victims and executioners are never what they seem. The staging preserves to the maximum the author's contemporary style and proposal. Antoni Mus's novel unfolds in a non-linear way, full of flashbacks and flash-forwards, comings and goings, and poetic passages that draw and set the emotional evolution of the protagonist.
