Pere Joan Martorell
La memòria de l'Oracle
INFORMATION
"The father was born dead." Thus begins this story halfway through the epic and epic: the story of human beings marked by stigma and absence. A woman searches for her missing husband, shortly after the conflict that keeps the people at odds with each other. Accompanied by a whole sample of characters as genuine as outlandish, the twin sons Jacob and Jeremiah, the aunt and uncle, the judge and the bursar, the godfather and Alba ... make up the human mosaic and the psychological spectrum of this dense universe steeped in hope. Throughout the novel, we can find questions about concepts such as loss and madness, doubt and investigation, mystery and revelation ... and, to talk about it, Pere Joan Martorell achieves a lyrical exercise of high voltage that creates an atmosphere sometimes full of guilt and betrayal but also of yearnings and dreams.
