Between the end of the 1950s and the beginning of the 1960s, Franco's Spain suffered a peaceful invasion that ended up transforming the country's customs and landscape: it was the invasion of Swedish women and tourism coming from Europe, with its scandalous bikinis, its less rigid morality and its airs of freedom.
