The third novel by Blai Bonet after El mar (1958) and Haceldama (1959). Judes i la primavera contains, in addition to the miracle of the emergence of sex and God in the lives of children, a singular, dissident religiosity that questions the law because "Jesus knew that morals are often homicidal and go against the personal individual.

Salvador, the young son of the widow Maria, is back in the town where his father was murdered. The agony and death are transmuted in spring: it is Holy Week, which the people of Hostili celebrate with a crowd of criminal bosses, suicidal children, inspired teenagers.
