The poems gathered here bring back memories of events that never happened or of births truncated by the dark waters of Estígia, which only a poet who is also the son of all the dead can summon. The author was chosen to be the Poet and he is precisely Poet because he speaks when everyone has kept silent, to tell us that only what has never happened is missed.
