Description

Encaixar is a dance performance that travels through personal imagination and interior scenery, from the most basic body language. The creation of Encaixar was a very passionate process in which the four members of Malmentats intervened: Mariantònia Oliver, Jaume Manresa, Pedro Mas and Pepón Prades. The basic question is: What is the need of telling and how can we surprise ourselves? This has made them modify work guidelines and re-think each other’s role. On stage there’s a dialogue between the performer Mariantònia Oliver and the musician Jaime Manresa. Pedro Mas and Pepón Prades take part during the process, proposing materials and subjects to explore and adding an exterior view.
