La Trup presents a show based on the work of Pau Faner (Ciutadella, 1949). Faner's work contains several literary genres, mainly novels and short stories. For this show La Trup has used fragments mainly from CAPS DE RATA, RELATS MENORQUINS and, very especially, EL CANT DE L'ALOSA.

The dramaturgy focuses on Joan, a child who is an alter ego with autobiographical touches of the author. In his eyes, nothing is what it seems. In a post-war Ciutadella, Joan will build a parallel world inhabited by women who become angels, motorcyclists who are insects with marvellous ales and tiny inhabitants who live on the house radio. A world that will accompany him until adulthood...
