«In March 2010, I was invited to participate in a unique expedition. Along with some other thirty people of various professions and environments, we went up the river Paraná, from Buenos Aires to Asunción, in order to create a new image of a river that for thirty years had only been used for transporting merchandise.

This shared experience with visual artists, architects, astro-physicians, , musicians, geographers, anthropologists, etc. was the origin of the book, which goes beyond the travel-book genre. Besides stories, outlines and chronicles of the expedition, there are also speculations, concepts for a new image of the Paraná and even the idea for a possible opera house over the river.»
