Cendres steps into the exile research of 1936 with a documentary view. It wants to give voice to anonymous women. Women that may have not existed but condense and synthesize hundreds of lives and careers. Civil war isn’t the main subject in this story, exile isn’t either. People and their answers are… their challenges, their desires and difficulties. People that, despite all, are still capable of loving, feeling illusion, live. This is the starting premise of Cendres, cartografía de l'exili.
