INFORMATION
3 pm, June 28, 2014, Colombian Amazon. Andrea, a young indigenous woman, has returned from the big city to the place in which she grew up. The terrain is now being mined, illegally, and is now inaccessible to her. There are two armed guards and a sign: private property—we fire at intruders. Andrea carries a box in her arms. It's her baby. He died because of the overcrowded conditions in the city. She wants to bury him in sacred soil. And she has a second mission. Andrea also carries a camera: if she can gain access to the territory and take pictures of the mining activities—then maybe their lawyer can reclaim the land for her exiled community. She knows that her life is at stake. This is why she has timed her quest to coincide with the Colombia vs. Uruguay World Cup football match: important enough to the guards to distract them just a little.
