Xavier Frau

With a degree in Interpretation from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and a degree in Catalan Philology from the Universitat de Barcelona, he works as an actor both in theatre and on television, and as a teacher, in relation to dramatic art and the Catalan language.
In theatre, some of the latest productions in which he has participated are El tigre de yuzu, by Silvia Navarro and Roger Julià, directed by the latter, the Mercat de les Flors (Grec Festival of Barcelona); Nit de reis, by Shakespeare, directed by Adrià Aubert, the Akadèmia theatre (Barcelona); Assaig sobre la lucidesa, Jumon Erra's version of Saramago's play, directed by Roger Julià and premiered at the Teatre Lliure (Grec Festival in Barcelona); and H-O, based on Hamlet, which he performs and has directed with Agnès Llobet.
For television, he has been part of the team of the series Llàgrima de sang, by Boca Boca producciones - Grup Serra; L'anell, by Nova Televisió; Hotel Bellavista, by CEF Produccions; and Amor de cans, by Nova Televisió, for IB3.
