The Wheels

The Wheels is a Mallorcan psychedelic-pop band. In 2014 they published the first EP, Great Frustrations. A year later they came up with Born To Fly, their first long play. They are characterized by the quality of the melodies, often harmonized, with a nostalgic air that moves us to the sixties, but with a very current sound that brings them to bands of the new "neopsichodelic" generation, like Tame Impala, Temples or Foxygen .

The publication, on the very day of the en of the Chinese Year of the Monkey, of their second LP, The Year of The Monkey, released under the label of Espora Records and recorded in Paco Loco's studios, has proven to be a turning point in their career, named Disco Gourmet by Radio 3's programme Turbo 3, the band received praises from Gordon Raphael himself, producer of The Strokes, it has taken them through some of the best venues in the country and a tour around Mexico.

The Wheels have performed at festivals and venues such as: Primavera Sound, Benicàssim FIB, Mallorca Live Festival, Melon Fest, Solar Fest, Tramuntana Rocks, Mallorca Rocks, Sala Apolo, Clamores Jazz, Costello Club, Red Club or Gran Maraca.
