Actor with a very extensive and international filmography. He has worked in some 150 films during more than 50 years of profession, under the orders of renowned directors such as Vicente Aranda, Fernando Fernán Gómez, Pilar Miró, Jorge Grau, Eloy de la Iglesia, Paul Verhoeven or Milos Forman, among others. He participated in some of the James Bond saga deliveries, Bridget's Jones Diary and The  Chronicles of Narnia. He has made films and television series in many countries. 

He began his cinematographic career in Madrid in 1959. Later he lived in Paris. 
In 2013, he received the Nosferatu Award from the Brigaddon section of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival in recognition of his entire career.
