Silvia Prió is from Barcelona, she has a Bachelor Degree from the University of Barcelona, a Mention of Honor at the Superior Grade of Artistic Photography and has a title in Documental Cinema from the University of the Balearic Island.

Her artistic work is centered in photography, video-creation and documental cinema. Some of the topics that she develops are the passing of time, childhood, portraits and humans relations (such as migration and gypsy etnia) using the language of photography and documental cinema.

She has exhibited her work and participated in different photography and cinema festivals in Madrid, Barcelona, Tenerife, Portugal, Argentina, Polonia, Luxemburgo y Canadá. Fflac Festival Madrid, Palucine Barcelona, Mendoc Argentina, Lux Luxembourg, Encontros da Imagen Braga-Portugal, Emergent Lleida, Getxophoto Bilbao, Palmaphoto Mallorca, Caf Centro andaluz de la Fotografia, GYF, Festival Bang, Festival Fotonoviembre Tenerife, Descubrimientos PHE PhotoEspaña 2017 are some of them. She has been prized at Pa-ta-ta Festival Granada 2017.
