Rafa Ferrà

Ferrà has a trajectory guided by its own style. After leaving the popular Mallorcan rock band Fora des Sembrat in the '90s and winning the first prize for Art Jove for contemporary music three years running from the Balearic Government, he travelled to Madrid with the programme "Conservas Escalada", by Cadena 100. Thus began a journey of several years in the capital, highlighting his role as a composer. His theme "Noche de San Juan" was included in the feature film "Cosa de brujas" starring Pepe Sancho. Also at that time, on the occasion of the war in Iraq, he wrote with Marta Botía "Todo en lo que yo creo", a song they would perform during the visit of John Paul II.

He and Belén Arjona would also wrote "Caigo sin ti", which would be included in Ferrà's album "Madrid Formentera". Ferrà is currently recording his third studio album, which will be released in early 2018 and is being produced by Daniel Ambrojo. Ferrà has released three albums to date, "Si le doy cuerda a mi vida", 1998, "Madrid Formentera", 2008 and "Mar i terra", 2013. In 2016 he released his latest single, "La luz que hay en ti". He is a respected artist in the songwriting circuit, both in Madrid and the Balearic Islands.
