Pelopantón

Resi and Anita live in Sineu, studied Fine Arts in Madrid and lived in Lisbon, Oaxaca, Barcelona and Cantabria before arriving in Mallorca in 2014.

At the beginning of 2014, Pelopantón made the robot portrait of "La Braña 1", a 7,000-year-old Mesolithic hunter-gatherer, whose remains were found in the village of La Braña (León), a study directed by CSIC researcher Carles Lalueza-Fox published in Nature magazine. With blue eyes and dark skin, the illustration appeared on the front pages of newspapers and televisions all over the world. Other remarkable works are the illustrations by scientists for the scientific dissemination platform SCENIO, the creation of Biel el Virot de Cabrera, the mascot of Excursions a Cabrera for environmental education or scientific illustrations for the Botanical Garden of Madrid, the Oceanographic Institute of A Coruña or the Museum of Natural Sciences of Madrid.
