I define me mainly as a painter and engraver for my formation, graduate in Beautiful Arts in the specialty of engraving and stamping, but especially am creator of new spaces. Mother of three children, teacher of art, engraving and painting, of merry and positive character, aspects that inevitably reflect in my artistic production. My work is very colorist and simple, the shape of a house of clean and certain stroke appears to the majority of my works, to give consciousness of landscape and escape of the abstraction of the colors and the shapes, creating like this new spaces, unreal and fantastic. Flowers and leaves are the excuses to enter in the landscape vertical lines that fractionate the space. The painting acrylic on wood or paper, the engraving in metal, linoleum or wood stamped on paper Guarro Super Alpha, the collage of papers stamped on wood or cloth, the line of pencil or waxes directly on the work, the transfer of photography’s, ... They are the technicians that likes me use and that mark the result of my works.

 

Biography

Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 1997. Since 1996 she has received the painting prizes of the Fiestas de Santo Bartomeu 1996, the Honorable mention to an artist under 30 years of the VII and the San Antonio Prize 1997, the painting prize, Honorary Medal of the XXXIII Hall of Spring of the Mao’ns Ateneo 1998, selected by the youth art show98, the First Prize and Honorable Mention of the X Prize San Antoni 2000, Scholarship by the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation of Palma in 2001, finalist to the Ciutat de Manacor Award, Torre de ses Puntas, 2008.

She has made numerous individual and collective exhibitions. Currently, she combines painting with teaching.
