Nou Romancer was formed in Palma in March 1994. It began with a traditional repertoire focused on the novelesque ‘romancers’, and popular song, but has evolved over time, featuring now their own original compositions with a traditional base. Nou Romancer have performed at numerous venues: churches, plazas, cultural centers and theaters around the Balearic islands and mainland Spain, and even as far off as Greece and Sweden.
