Marc Melià

Marc Melià is a Brussels based producer and composer born in the island of Majorca who during the last decade have been producing, remixing and working with notable figures of the French scene like Flavien Berger, Françoiz Breut, Lonely Drifter Karen or the label Crammed Discs among others.

He was first spotted by the online synthesizer community by his stunning performances with à DSI Prophet which culminated with the release of his first solo record « Music For Prophet » (Les Disques du Festival Permanent) in 2017, an LP that belongs to the new tradition of repetitive music composed by sensitive robots for the future human beings. Marc Melià is now back with «Veus» to be released on Parisian label Pan European Recording, one of the most prestigious French record labels, on the 15th of October.

An album half in Catalan, his mother tongue, and hald in French, his language of adoption. The voice manipulation is in the center of this new LP, in which Marc Melià mutates into a sort of android so to speak about dreams and wishes, but specially in order to offer us his unique sensitivity.
