Marc Mas

Marc Mas, drummer of the band BILO, presents the songs that make up “Cartes I Estampes”, the first LP of his solo project. The album was recorded at the Teatro de Calvià with his friends and travel companions in BILO, Tomy Solbas as producer/arranger and Driss Stadig as studio musician. The songs were developed between 2017 and 2020, gradually taking shape: starting from acoustic guitar and piano, they evolved into more complex pieces until finally being released in 2023.

“Cartes i Estampes” is a personal project, composed of nine songs in the form of images or memories, dedicated to personal experiences and the people who have passed through Marc's life. Written in English, Catalan, and Spanish, these songs explore calmer sounds and melodies, more dedicated to personal reflection rather than the concept of a rock band.
