Graduated with a BA in Humanities by Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona (2012, UPF) and with the MA in Documentary Cinema by IPECC in Madrid (2014), he has worked in music videos, advertisement and documentary short films in Menorca. There he works offering cinema courses in high-schools and practical workshops during the Cinema Festival of Menorca.

In Spain he works for two production companies, Elsabeth and Cicely Films, as camera operator and support editor since 2012. With them he has worked for the musical website totssants.com, in cultural tv programs and documentary films. At the moment they are working in the post-production of their first feature length film entitled "Ardara", in which Macià has worked as camera operator, support editor and actor.
