What interests me most about theatre -now and since I started- is the encounter, the reunion: the coexistence of a group organised by unknown people in a specific space and time. It is a meeting without long-term objectives, without future convocation: the agenda does not go beyond the dark and the applause. However, no one knows which of these meetings will trigger the next revolution. Every night in the theater - I like to think that way - configures an ephemeral political movement.
I write comedies because I'm not optimistic. I believe in a sense of humor as the only viable alternative to optimism. My works are always autobiographical, but I never realize it until months after I have written them.
He is the usual playwright of the Companyia La Calòrica, and the creator and scriptwriter of the series Mai neva a Ciutat.
