He is a prestigious Mallorcan composer. He has worked with musicians, performers and, in general, some of the most renowned artists and has premiered his productions all over the world. He studied in Palma, Barcelona and Los Angeles (California). He has received commissions from numerous orchestras. He founded the Ars Ensemble. 

He is the author of soundtracks for films, documentaries and television series by such well-known directors as Agustí Villaronga, Álex de la Iglesia and Antonio Chavarrías, among others. He has worked on arrangements for many top artists. He has also created the music for a large number of dance, theatre and flamenco shows. He has produced albums with Montserrat Caballé, worked with Plácido Domingo, Anna Netrebko or Ainhoa Arteta, and recorded on the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label.

He was director of the Pollença Music Festival. He composed the institutional music for the Balearic government which, in 2011, named him Artist of the Year. He is one of the Balearic artists with the greatest international dimension.
