Joan Pizá was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in 1972, he studies drama and other acting courses in Madrid and Mallorca in 1992-1999.
Works in Madrid as an actor in several theater productions. Under this period, he also expands his activity throughout the Spanish territory and Italy playing theatrical entertainment in 1994-1999.
Plays the leading role in Terra Mítica’s main shows. This well known Spanish theme park had him as The Red Beard Pirate and Centurion in 2000-2001.
Moves to his homeland and works as an actor in theater and audiovisual projects, especially in the theatrical entertainment in 2001-2006.
Joan Pizá and his partner create his first production company Tucano Artists. Through their theather company - Los Guasones (The Jokers)- Joan Pizá produces and presents both audiovisual and theatre shows in different kinds of events (hotels, weddings, boats...) in Mallorca, Madrid and Barcelona.
Nowdays he is still collaborating with most of Mallorca’s main event management and show business companies in 2006-2010.
Starts working as a freelancer for both the private and the institutional sector, as well as for several event management companies in 2011.
Undertakes a course on Tv Production and Filmmaking at the Centro de Estudios Fotográficos (CEF) in 2011-2013.
Takes part in a short film workshop with Toni Bestard, the film director in 2011. Co-directs the short film "Preferiría estar muerto” (“I’d rather be dead") as the CEF’s final project in 2012.
In 2014, Joan Pizá creates his own audiovisual production company Qmiras Producciones, where he produced and directed the short film "El Virus de Sencelles" (“Sencelles’ Virus”). Since then he has been producing several audiovisual projects with hidden cameras, customized business broadcasts, news reporters, video books and spots, among others.
