Gori Matas & Omar Lanuti
Gori Matas (piano) and Omar Lanuti (guitar) present the duo project El Tercer Espacio, which delves into their own compositions that, through sensitivity and intimate music, seek the dialogue of both instruments to generate emotion, texture and joint melody.
The pianist and keyboardist Gori Matas Sabaté is a professor of the Alexander Technique, a practical method developed by FM Alexander (1869-1955) that helps to use the body with greater ease and less rigidity. He received his training at "The Alexander Technique Studio" in London, and has been practicing his profession since 2012. From his childhood he already knew that he wanted to be a musician and in addition to a pianist, he perfectly masters any type of keyboard, and has jazz music as a priority reference although he is capable of playing any modern music.
Omar Lanuti began to receive classical music lessons at the Conservatory of San Martín (Buenos Aires). Tiempo después went on to study music and modern harmony at the Conservatory of Avellaneda (Buenos Aires). His interest in the different styles of the electric guitar have changed, but in general he is interested in almost all of them (Blues, Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Folklore, etc.). He has played in many groups of different styles and accompanied many singers. He has made several recordings with different formations, as a guitarist and as a composer, but what he likes the most and where he believes that a musician truly expresses himself is playing live.
