The photographer François Perri lives between Menorca and Paris. He studied at the Sudre School of Photography. He quickly specialised in ethno-sociological subjects, both in France and in the African territory, crossing the Sudanese Desert on foot, travelling by motorbike for two years in West Africa and in Asia and made numerous reports throughout his pilgrimages around the world. In 1991, he created the association " Dialogue de l'image* ", which organizes pinhole photographic workshops, where he introduces young people from the four continents to the magic of pinhole photography. He also sails around the world, as part of the operation "Dans le sillage de Magellan", a project sponsored by UNESCO and the French Ministry of Culture. Since then, he shares his time between his creative activities and his photographic work; on the other hand he has correlated and made several documentaries.

His work has led to numerous exhibitions and publications in national and international journals and to the publication of his work.
