Escorpio was born in the summer of 2013, as a parallel project of two inquiring minds, separated in their musical careers, but connected by the zodiac sign that names the group scorpion: Toni Cobretti (The Last Dandies, The marzipan man) i Rafa Cor Romput (Trance, Orden Mundial). In 2014 the band became a trio with addition of Jaume Villalonga (Orden Mundial), and the sound of the band progressively got darker and stronger. They began to make less abstract songs. Eighties post punk, dark and torn sound.
