Only fate, capricious, could make Xesca, Antonia and Silke -two Santanyí girls and a German- meet and, in 2004, begin to sing together. After months of testing and a certain fear, in 2005 Entreveus gave their first concert. Since then music has been a need for them, a way of living and a tool for everyday life, that has made them freer. With the Ramon's technical support and coordination and overcoming some obstacles, they were finding the time to consolidate the group and face new challenges. Thus, in 2007 they released their first cd: El joc de l'aigua, mostly integrated by original compositions with poems by authors from Mallorca. The good reception of the record and the support from many people gave them the energy to continue and the possibility of performing live. Two years later they launched their most ambitious project: to make an album and a show based on the poetry of Antonio Vidal Ferrando, writer and friend from Santanyí, who was fully involved with the group and gave them all his support. Thus, in 2011, they published the CD Mites dins la boca, Entreveus canta Antoni Vidal Ferrando, which was also performed in several places in Mallorca and Catalonia. Since their first concert in 2005 Entreveus combines original compositions with cover versions of well-known songs. They have always enjoyed giving a taste of Mallorcan traditional music. Probably for these reasons, in 2015 they decided to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the band recording the album Deu (deu anys, deu versions), in collaboration with two new musicians: Christian Hoel Skjønhaug on bass and Antoni Canyelles Suau on drums. The show that they currently present is a compilation of their creative work carried out during these ten years, mixing original compositions and cover versions.
