Donallop is the duet formed by the Majorcans Pere Bestard and Joana Pol. They currently live in Catalonia. This is their third studio album, ‘Crisálide’, published by the Catalan label Satélite K. This is the second album produced by the legendary indie producer Paco Loco (Hinds, Mishima and Nacho Vegas), in his studio at Puerto de Santa Maria in Cádiz. For the first time they have recorded as a power trio, accompanied by the drummer Josep Servera. ‘Crisálide’ is a record that drinks from pop minimalism, from poetic prose and in which they approach new musical forms, such as the textures of trap, the rhythms of house and the beat of slowcore.
