STATEMENT
“Interculturalism”: The concept aims to describe the interaction between two or more cultures in a horizontal and synergistic manner. This assumes that none of the sets is above another, a condition that favours integration and harmonious coexistence of all individuals.
I talk about feelings, soul, fairs, relationships, migration secrets, sorrows, joys and pains....“That ?s what life is about, in every different culture.”
Through black and white photographies and the play of light of my sculptures, I present a depiction of a hidden inner world, an emotional root of human relationships as illustrations of social conflicts.
I create works of contrasts, Black and White, light or darkness, the fragility and strength, lonely and together, up and down, , Inside-Out site ...
The construction of this fragile framework shapes us. In a simple guise full of complexity, it creates us as individuals. We are filled with joy and pain, fellow feeling and bitterness, hope and hidden longings. Part of us needs to emerge into the light and breathe. We decide what we are prepared to show to the light from ourselves and like to the others, but the truth—the things that nobody knows and no-one sees—lies deep down. Our true thoughts and desires remain buried.
