"What is the secret of the artist? I would say that the key to his art his infinite capability of looking, to look at things so intensely that, finally, they look like surrounded of a metaphysical aura, and sometimes, detaching some dramatic ecos that manifest themselves like a voice-over. He has painted tree trunks that talk to us about the tragedy of uprooting. He paints fruits in process of decomposition that allude to the pass of time. The lucidity of his sight turns things into poetry. Either on canvas, ceramics, sculpture, graphic work - all which deserve to be contemplated and collected-, the world of the artist develops in a tense calm, in an atmosphere on were all things are washed by his light".
